O Livro e o Mar Infindáveis at Oi Futuro Ipanema

Exhibition by artist Lucio Agra pays tribute to the film

" O Livro e o Mar Infindáveis", an exhibition by poet and performer Lucio Agra, will be held at Oi Futuro, in Ipanema, in the city’s South Side. The showing ends September 16th, and is part of Poesia Visual, a project that hopes to take words beyond the pages of books, by providing a space for visual arts and poetry.

Lucio's work pays tribute to the a film from the 30s called "Limite", by Brazilian filmmaker Mario Peixoto. The film was considered a worldwide silent cinema masterpiece. Agra makes use of a TV, the floor and the showcase at the entrance of the cultural center in this exposition.
