B.B. King is back in Rio for one single show

The King of Blues brings his tour “One More Time” on the stage at Vivo Rio

B.B. King is back in Rio for one single show

A living legend of blues, American singer B. B. King is back in Rio, for one single performance, on March 16. Cariocas and tourists are going to check out the only show of the singer at Vivo Rio, a theatre hall located in Aterro do Flamengo, starting at 09:30 pm. Tickets for this thrilling show vary between R$ 60 (half-price) and R$ 500 (Premium floor).

The last show of B.B. King in Brazil was in 2006. Winner of the Grammy award (the Oscar of music) 14 times, the “king of blues” stared performing for larger audiences in the 60’s. In 1969, upon being invited by the Rolling Stones, King opened the band’s tour in the United States. In the 80’s, he started making shows with British group U2, presenting the blues, a music style created in the USA and deeply connected to African-American culture, for many generations.

On the verge of turning 85, the “Bluesman”, as he defines himself, is going to perform in his new tour “One More Time” with the same charisma as usual, and is expected to fire up the public of all ages in a memorable show.
