Casa Cool Beans is a small, luxurious, relaxed guesthouse (Bed & Breakfast Inn) which opened on December 1st, 2010. Located in Rio de Janeiro’s Santa Teresa artist district-recently referred to in November 2010 by New York Magazine as “the drop-dead-sexiest neighborhood in Rio.”
Its 10 beds are distributed among seven rooms with double beds; three of such are suites and one mini apartment for up to six guests. There are also three rooms with private bathrooms.
Its guests tend to be college students, athletes, people attending exhibitions, congresses, seminars and tourist, because it combines in the right proportion quality services, friendliness and comfort, at rates accessible to all kinds of guests from all over the world.
Located in the quarter of Ipanema, at rua Barão da Torre street, no. 107, the inn is one block away from the Ipanema/General Osório subway station and three blocks from the beach. It can accommodate 80 guests.
The house was built in 1888 in the Victorian style among 2000 m2 of tropical gardens, with a large swimming pool, steam bath and Jacuzzi, it is located on a peaceful and safe street in the middle of the quarter of Santa Teresa, one of the oldest and most beautiful quarters of Rio de Janeiro, a surprising Hill between downtown and the beaches of the South Zone.
