3rd Order of São Francisco da Penitência Church
The construction of the present church was started in 1622. In 1738 the main chapel was finished with all the internal ornamentation engraved in gold.
Bosque da Barra Park
The park has a preserved sandbank vegetation common along the Brazilian coastline. The native flora serves as a refuge for birds and small animals. It also has natural lagoons, a jogging track, bicycle path, soccer field and picnic area.
Botanical Garden
The Botanical Gardens were created on June 13th, 1808 by D.João VI, Prince Regent at the time, and are considered to be one of the most important in the world. Recognized as a Live Museum, they contain over eight thousand plant species.
Candelária Church
The dome, built entirely from lime-stone shipped over from Lisbon, is the church’s main visual characteristic. It was built in neoclassical style from 1865 to 1877.
Catacumba Park
The park exhibits sculptures by visual artists of international renown such as Roberto Moriconi, Bruno Giorgi and Caribé.
Chácara Tropical
Set in a 3.000sq meter area, Chácara Tropical has three large planted areas with a great variety of bushes, palm-trees, orchids,bromelias, and plant cuttings. The Tropical bonsai with dozens of types over 50 years old and a complete line of items necessary for theart of bonsai planting.
Chacrinha Park
This Park measures 32,000 square meters. Located in Copacabana, at the end of Guimarães Natal Street.
Chico Mendes Municipal Park
A 400.000 sq. meter park. Its fauna consists of broad-nosed caymans, tortoises, sea and land-turtles.
Conceição Fortress
The construction began in 1713, defending the City of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro. Five years later, this was the third-largest fort in Rio in terms of firing power.
Convent of Santo Antonio
The church and convent of Santo Antonio characterize the colonial architecture and Portuguese baroque expression.
Copacabana Fort
Inaugurated in 1914 on the promontory of the old Nossa Senhora de Copacabana chapel, the Copacabana Fort was first built to strengthen the defenses protecting the Guanabara Bay.
Corcovado
This is one of the main scenic spots in the city,located at the Tijuca National Park, 710 meters high and giving a sweeping panorama of sea and mountain, a world famous vista.

Duque de Caxias Fort
Built between 1776 and 1779 with the mission of warning the other fortifications of the approach of enemy vessels.
Espaço Cultural da Marinha
Excursion along Guanabara Bay on board the tugboat Laurindo Pitta. The trip, which is accompanied by a guide, lasts one and a half hours.

Fiscal Island
Covering 1,000 square meters on the island just off Praça XV, this picturesque palace was designed in 1881 in neo-Gothic style by engineer Adolfo Del Vecchio, and inaugurated on 27th April 1889.
Flamengo Park - Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes Park
The three Armed Forces offer a show of beauty of the best civilian-military stamp, with the Brazilian colors, each first Sunday of the Augsut, October and December in Park Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes.
Haras Pégasus
A green area of 250.000 square meters with visitors infrastructure for rides and horse-back day or night.
Helisight/Helisul
Panoramic flights over the city and charter flights to Angra, Búzios and Petrópolis. Night flights only for groups.
Lapa Arches
